automobile.

i went and test drove a new car today (new to me) that is so beautiful and so overwhelming.
my life is going to continue to be one gigantic ball of debt.
i could buy a car for a little money and replace it in 6 years
OR i could just suck it up, put a down payment and pay more for a car i will have for at least 15.
i hate money, i hate cars, i hate debt. i am just panicking because any time i have to pay money for anything i freak out! but if i had a car that ran, maybe i would actually take the time to drive and visit my lovely friends i never see. thats you guys, you who are reading this.
but after reading josh's story of his lovely experience of the new car catching on fire, i am not so inclined to.
we will see i guess!

updates.

Has anyone else been listening to matisyahu?

My store is going fabulously... seriously could not have been an easier transition, however not met without challenges. There has been a past complacency at this store, something I am trying to erase, but everyone is so eager and hungry for enthusiasm and purpose, that they have been more than receptive. the weather here is a perfect balance of sun and breeze, i've spent my last few nights with friends and mai tai merriment, and Redding has had this kind of feeling of joy to it lately.
A few weeks ago I went out to dinner with a close friend from high school. He was this older, more professional and empathetic version of himself. In all honesty, as close as we were, he was kind of a tool in high school and I was much more reserved. and it was just so normal to be together and interesting to act out as our more grown up selves.
I just got tickets to go see deathcab at the end of March in Sacramento. I haven't seen them since Coachella 2 years ago, so I am excited, as I really do love 'plans.'
I've been at the manor for almost a full nine months now.... I haven't lived anywhere this long in over 2 years. My goal is to stay in one place for a full year and I'm surprised its something I will actually acheive.
I can say I am genuinely happy.
