end hiatus.

if anyone ever still checks or reads this:

I apologize for the hiatus. How did i get so busy and what exactly have i been filling my time with? I honestly do not know. The updates aren't as much "updates" are they are "continuings" in my life. So i will do my best.

I still live at the manor. with amy.
amy got engaged, so I will once again lose a lovely roommate.
i will probably move home. it is not as pathetic and sad as it sounds, i swear. in my crazy wonderful family, living at home is like living in a commune with roommates of all ages. Plus, now that I am the ONLY single person i know, who else will i live with?

i still manage the starbucks downtown, and love it. i have the most amazing team, including nancy persons nee fluharty, who we all know and love. She and I are RIDICULOUS together. so so much fun.

We had crazy good thanksgiving with my whole family (minus natalie, my france habitating sister) complete with good conversation, good food, and good wine. and plenty of all three.

NEW THINGS!
this is new. I have been horse back riding a LOT. I decided I wanted to event in spring, hopefully in stadium jumping, and working towards dressage and cross-country by the end of next year. One of our horses just had major surgery (scary) and is out until february, So I am riding my aunt's andalusian. He is this INCREDIBLE creature, and I feel blessed at the opportunity to ride him! He looks like a Lippizaner, those fancy shmancy horses from portugal. And I am schooling someone else's horse once a week, so that will keep me occupied.

I will be spending two weeks in Europe in april, mostly in France visiting my sister, and in London visiting sarah (noah's girlfriend). Linda, I need your reccomendations.

I love love love my church. I am in a small group that is about to launch with these amazing other girls (women? i guess we are women now...?) So I am thankful for that.

My life is simple and consists of few things. But I could not feel more blessed.

ummm.. recommendation!
I pretty much spent a few days in Paris and that was about it...oh yeah and I also went to Versaille...go there it is really interesting.
I stayed at a decent hostelu called Absolute Paris. It is right next to the metro....speaking of metro...use it. So easy and gets you all over the city. OR walk...cause that is what I did until I realized the metro was easy.
There is so much to see. I didn't go out a lot cause it was the beginning of my trip and I was kinda freaking out still, however I am familiar (friend of a friend) with the guy that runs the bike/segway tours at the bottom of the eiffel tower...Good times!
hope this is helpful....have fun!
